Murderthon Tools

Checklists and quick references you can run before every alpha lobby.

Murderthon Tools Hub

This Tools page is the practical clipboard for Murderthon. Instead of long theory, you get reusable checklists: controls, Shard farming, pre-match loadouts, and code redemption. Use it on a second monitor or skim it while the Roblox client loads. For full explainers, jump to Getting Started, Controls, Codes, and the Tier List Hub.

Murderthon is a Roblox asymmetrical 4v1 alpha by Chilly Creations. Classes repair five of seven generators and escape; Masks down survivors in two hits and execute on electric chairs. Tools here assume that loop and the current Shard economy.

Controls quick reference

Memorize these before you worry about tech. Full habits and controller notes live on the Controls guide.

ActionKeyboard / MouseController
SprintLeft ShiftL1
CrouchLeft CtrlLeft Stick (press/hold per prompt)
AttackM1 (left click)R1
AbilityM2 (right click)R2
Communication WheelMiddle Mouse ButtonD-Pad Up

Habits to attach to the sheet

  • Sprint only when the path is safe; sprinting leaves scratch marks the Mask can read.
  • Crouch to break line of sight and quiet movement near terror radius edges.
  • Open the comm wheel before a chair rescue so teammates know whether to trade or finish a gen.
  • Unlock mouse when redeeming codes or adjusting menus so camera spin does not throw your aim.

If a patch remaps prompts, re-run this table in a private moment in lobby before ranked-feeling pubs.

Code redeem checklist

Run this every time a new string drops on the Codes Hub:

  1. Launch the official Murderthon experience (not a random copy place).
  2. Reach the main menu / lobby UI.
  3. Open the three-dots control in the bottom-left.
  4. Select ENTER CODE.
  5. Paste the code exactly (Vestige, 200KVISITS, DIVIDE, FROST while they remain live).
  6. Press REDEEM and wait for confirmation.
  7. Note Shard balance before and after so you catch silent failures.
  8. Leave and rejoin once if the UI errors, then mark the code expired if it still fails.

Do not redeem mid-chase or mid-skill-check. Codes are account-bound; sharing screenshots of unused codes is fine, sharing passwords is not.

Shard farming checklist

Shards buy Masks (many ~5K) and cosmetics. Free Masks Ripe and Fate exist so you can learn Killer without a full bank. Use this loop when you need currency:

Before the match

  • Redeem any new codes first.
  • Equip a Class that matches the farm plan (Mechanic for gens, Medic for assist credit, etc.).
  • Clear one mission objective if you are close—mission unlocks can matter more than a small Shard drip.

During Class matches

  • Prioritize generator progress toward the five-of-seven requirement without suiciding into the Mask.
  • Open chests when the terror radius is quiet.
  • Complete class-specific activities (heals, sabotages, pings) that the game tracks for rewards.
  • If you are last alive, play for hatch instead of a hero gate 1v1 you cannot win.

During Mask matches

  • Secure downs and chairs efficiently; stalled chases waste farm time.
  • Pressure unfinished generators so matches do not time out without results.
  • Learn one free Mask well; inefficient kits earn less per hour even if they look flashy.

After the match

  • Check quest progress.
  • Bank Shards toward a planned Mask instead of impulse cosmetics.
  • Skim updates if reward amounts felt different than yesterday.

Optional Robux purchases exist, but the checklist above is the free path.

Pre-match loadout checklist

Run this in lobby every session:

Account & client

  • Roblox client updated; Murderthon launched from the official experience
  • Mic / comm wheel unbound conflicts fixed
  • Mouse unlock key remembered for menus

Survivor (Class) loadout

  • Class selected matches team needs (info, heal, gen, pallet, blind, sabotage, invis)
  • You know whether the Class is mission-locked or free for this account
  • You remember the two-hit down rule and when to pre-drop pallets
  • You have a plan for West Park / Frost pallet scarcity and vents

Killer (Mask) loadout

  • Mask selected (default to Ripe or Fate if learning)
  • Shard cost confirmed if experimenting with Sin, Pierce, Sheol, Jammed, Divide, Lens
  • Ability button (M2 / R2) tested in lobby animation if available
  • Chair route plan for the map you expect

Mental prep

  • One goal for the session (“no greed gens after second hook,” “practice Fate trap zoning”)
  • Tier reference opened if undecided: Tier List
  • Patch caveat acknowledged—alpha bugs possible

Session scorecard (optional)

After three matches, mark what failed:

  • Died to scratch-mark pathing → reduce sprint, review looping notes in guides
  • Lost gens too fast on Killer → add generator kicks / Pierce-style pressure later
  • Wasted shards on a Mask you hate → return to free kits for a night
  • Missed codes → pin the Codes page

This scorecard keeps tools actionable instead of decorative.

How these tools connect to the rest of the wiki

  • Controls table → deepen on Controls
  • Redeem checklist → live strings on Codes
  • Farming loop → roster value on Players and rankings on Tier List
  • Loadout checklist → teach role with Getting Started and specialized Guides
  • Safety → if you were searching for executors, read Scripts first and stay on checklists instead

Why a tools page during alpha

Alpha UX moves. Code menus, prompt glyphs, and shop prices can shift after events like Mask of Slasher drops. A checklist page is easier to update than rewriting every guide paragraph. When something here disagrees with the live client, trust the client, then check patch notes.

Print the controls table, keep the redeem steps beside your browser bar, and run the loadout list before you press queue. That alone removes half the “I forgot what Y does” deaths that new Murderthon players report in chaotic pubs.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Murderthon survivors and Masks.

What is on the Murderthon Tools page?

Controls quick reference, Shard farming checklist, pre-match loadout checklist, and code redeem steps.

Where is the full controls explanation?

Use the Controls guide for deeper habits. This Tools page keeps the compact table for lobby use.

How do I redeem codes from the checklist?

Three-dots menu bottom-left → ENTER CODE → type the code → REDEEM. Details and live codes are on the Codes Hub.

What is the fastest fair way to earn Shards?

Redeem live codes, then play objective-focused matches with quest progress in mind. Mechanic gen pressure and consistent chair plays both help.

Should I use third-party script tools instead?

No. Prefer these checklists. Third-party executors risk your Roblox account; see the Scripts Hub for warnings.
